Marine Consultant (Chief Officer) - Permanent - London - £30,000 plus commission 

A Marine Consultancy is looking to expand it's team of Consultants in London by recruiting a Marine Business Development Consultant. 

This role will suit a Chief Officer who has sailed on a variety of vessels who is keen to develop their career ashore. As a minimum, you must have an HND in Nautical Science. Experience in Marine Business or MBA is preferred. 

You will be based ashore providing consultancy services to a range of marine clients so must be flexible to travel as required within the UK and overseas. 

Your responsibilities will include: 
- Liaising with the client to determine the range of services to be provided and setting of services targets; 
- Undertake surveys and analyses as required by the client; 
- Preparing proposals for marketing campaigns, promotional activities and undertaking market research; 
- Inspect ships when required and provide consultancy service on cargo related matters. 

You will receive a basic salary and commission for the business that you bring in.
